About this video:
The King’s Gambit is a very risky and dangerous opening to play as white, but can also lead to some incredibly fun to play positions. It is great for players who like tactical positions where both white and black’s kings can be in danger. It is a chess opening not for the faint of heart. Black can choose to accept the gambit with exf4, or decline it and play a number of different moves, including 2…d5, the Falkbeer Counter Gambit. In the Falkbeer Counter Gambit, black turns the tables and offers a pawn of his own to get a lead in development. In this video I show you some of the main lines in the King’s gambit as well as some of the things to watch out for.
