The Queen’s Gambit is a Netflix’s limited series created by Scott Frank and Allan Scott. The series is based on the 1983 novel of the same name by Walter Tevis. It is a fiction that explores the life of an orphan chess prodigy named Beth Harmon from the age of eight to twenty-two, as she struggles with addiction in a quest to become the greatest chess player in the world.
