Zaitsev – Vladimir Kramnik
Team Tournament 1986
Scheveningen Sicilian

I am starting to think that Vladimir Kramnik was born a chess genius. This game was played when he was only 11, and yet his strategic and positional understanding was exceptional, much higher than that of Tal, Petrosian, Fischer or Karpov at the same age.

He played precisely, mercilessly, and aggressively, a deadly combination of traits of a true chess monster.
