This was a very interesting game for understanding young Tigran Petrosian. He played a very solid positional and strategic game, making sure he has no weaknesses, and that he does his best to fix his opponent’s weaknesses.
Once he optimized his position and couldn’t do more to improve it, he simply attacked. And it was no pretty piece maneuvering. He just shoved his pawn up the board! He combined Tal and Petrosian into one deadly monster
