⭐ Misha Osipov vs Anatoly Karpov TV Show Video – http://bit.ly/3d0tCrI
The following is a game played in a Russian TV show in the year 2016 between the 3-year-old chess prodigy Misha Osipov and the 12th World Chess Champion Anatoly Karpov. One could easily get nervous when playing against one of the greatest chess legends, but this kid played really well.
This also highlights how chess really unifies all of us – it doesn’t care about our religion, age, country, political view, etc. It is amazing to see the fighting spirit of the 3-year-old kid – when Kasparov offered a draw, Misha rejected the draw offer as he wanted to play for a win. Even though the kid got upset and started crying after losing on time, he did solve some brilliant puzzles at the end.
Misha also impressed Karpov when he said he had seen Karpov’s game against Viktor Korchnoi, and again when Karpov asked for the name of the opening they played, Misha answered correctly “Nimzo-Indian”.
