One of the most common questions asked by chess players, especially the club players, is how to make an attacking plan after the opening stage? What exactly to do in the middlegame? How to create a plan?

This is exactly what RCA guest coach Dragos-Daniel Martian teaches you in this instructive video lesson. He shows you a couple of interesting games, one of which is his own game and the other played between the chess grandmasters Alexander Kotov and Paul Keres.

In both the games, he explains how White creates an attacking plan right after the opening stage is over and teaches you the importance of positional understanding, i.e. understanding that the value of your pieces are more important than the material advantage.
