I faced a very good played, rated 2250. He tried to provoke me with psychological tricks early on. In the end, he wrote “GG” in the chat when we were still playing, telling me to resign. I guess that’s mind warfare which is supposed to get to me and irritate me. I have to say it did. I will have to work on coping with that. I hope I will become immune to provocations like that in the future. Anyway, congratulations to him on a brilliantly played endgame.
It was a very interesting rook endgame in which he had the more active king and the more active rook. I was on the defensive. It was a dead draw which black could have held easily. But one error was enough… I hope you learn something.
