In 1829 German naturalist Friedrich Parrot together with prominent Armenian writer Khachatur Abovian, two Russian soldiers and two Armenian villagers made the first recorded ascent of biblical mount Ararat! Later Parrot would write a book about that ascent “Journey to Ararat”. 190 years later I make my journey taking my magnetic chess set with me! This is my journey, journey to Ararat with my chess set!
This is going to be series of videos consisting of 6 parts, the last one shot at the summit of mount Ararat! Part IV was filmed in camp 2 about 4100m above the sea level! In the video I am analyzing a famous chess miniature known as to be the earliest recorded game where queen sacrifice was made!
