The Weakness Of The Long Diagonal

In this video I am analyzing a brilliant attacking game played by Branko Lovric vs Muhamad Sinanaovic! By going for Larsen’s opening White puts his bishop on b2-square which later becomes White’s tramp card in the game! Once White gets a chance, opens up the long diagonal by capturing Black pawn, and then by sacrificing his knight! In the end White forces a resignation with a brilliant rook sacrifice! This game is a brilliant example of how one can make use of the weakness of the long diagonal!
