In this video I am analyzing a famous chess miniature played by the 4th World Chess Champion Alexander Alekhine vs Argentinian chess player Leopoldo Carranza. In Ruy Lopez White sacrifices a piece in hope of luring away Black queen and make use of the pin but Alekhine delivers a surprise and sacrifices his queen which allows him to exploit the weakness of the first rank by promoting his c-pawn! A brilliant game full of sharp tactical ideas! This time you can solve the daily puzzle in the beginning of the video!
