Georgian chess player Nona Gaprindashvili is the first woman to be awarded the FIDE title Grandmaster. She is the sixth women’s world chess champion (1962–1978) and is the strongest female player of her generation. In this video I am covering her game played against Yugoslav chess Grandmaster Juraj Nikolac where in the main line of Caro-Kann defense Gaprindashvili goes for two minor piece sacrifices and by launching a king hunt forces her opponent to resign!
A spectacular attack in the style of the Magician from Riga Mikhail Tal! In the end of the video as usual you can solve the daily puzzle!
