Queen Sacrifice And More… Spassky Shows That Perfect Attack Exists

In this video I am analyzing a brilliant attacking game played by the 10th World Chess Champion Boris Spassky vs Dutch GM Jan Timman. In Gruenfeld Defense Timman is choosing a passive line, is not challenging White’s center immediately which allows Spassky to keep his center alive and launch a quick king-side attack! Soon Spassky sacrifices his bishop which leaves Black with a destroyed king-side! In the end Spassky also sacrifices his queen and wins the game in style! A brilliant attack in the style of games played in the 19th century! In the end of the video as usual you can solve the daily puzzle!
