In English opening Mikhail Tal makes a novelty, sacrifices a pawn on move 9 against Dutch GM John van der Wiel, which was recognized as one of the best novelties of 1982! The pawn sacrifice allows Tal to organize a quick attack and soon more sacrifices are appearing on the board! The final rook sacrifice destroys Black’s position! A “typical Tal” game which every chess lover should see!
