A training game against my friend and favorite chess Youtuber Ingvar Thor Johannesson, better known as Zibbit (@Zibbit’s Chess Channel).
Zibbit is an Icelandic Fide Master, much stronger than I am, and it was an honor playing him.
The game was very complicated and we both got low on time. I thought I was ok in that double-edged middlegame, but then I complicated things and ruined the whole game.
In a matter of moves I was worse and lost. Still, it was a very valuable training session.
Zibbit recorded the game on his channel too. Make sure to check it out! It might be interesting to hear the difference in the thinking process between an FM and a 1800 player.
