Hikaru Nakamura is a player who can always surprise his opponent with a rare and unorthodox opening. In this game Nakamura’s opponent was Anton Filippov and Nakamura went for unorthodox Danver’s opening. An opening which can be seen rarely at the top level. But though the early queen development violates conventional opening principles Nakamura got a pretty dangerous attack. This video covers that interesting encounter!
