The Day Magnus Carlsen Became World’s Youngest Grandmaster (at the time)

In this chess video I am analyzing a historical game played by Magnus Carlsen. This game was played in the penultimate round of 6th Dubai Open (2004). At the time of this game Carlsen was 13 years old and he needed only one draw from his last 2 games to become the world’s youngest Grandmaster. In the game Carlsen’s opponent Belaruisan Grandmaster Alexei Fedorov chooses double edged King’s gambit but the young prodigy plays the game accurately and manages to draw!
