2018 Chess Candidates Tournament, round 3. Levon Aronian – Vladimir Kramnik, Ruy Lopez (C65, Berlin Defense)

Round three of the Candidates is still under way, but Kramnik’s game has already finished. He is in complete beast mode this tournament and he has proved that in today’s game as well.

The game was Kramnik’s favorite Berlin defense and he used it to completely outrank Aronian. He played an attacking brilliancy and managed to defeat Aronian in just 27 moves, without giving him a chance!
