In this video GM Damian Lemos analyzes Round 9 of the World chess championship between Anand-Carlsen. Anand had to play for a win (considering the match situation) and he opens the game with 1.d4 ( First surprise!). Magnus plays the NimzoIndian defense and we get a complex middlegame soon, where White fires a strong kingside attack whereas Black gets a second queen by promoting on b1.. White makes a mistake with Nf1? allowing an easy defense .. after Bf1 things are not clear at all. 3 rounds left and Vishy has to win them all for a tie-break.
