My opponent opened with 1. e4 and I tried to play the Pirc Defense but he opted for a Closed Sicilian set-up, so I changed my game plan to gain more space in the center. My opponent played a few inaccurate moves in the opening, permitting me to gain a near-decisive space advantage on the kingside by quickly pushing forward with f5-f4. White tried to refute black’s attack with a piece sacrifice for two pawns, but did not find sufficient compensation.
