In this video GM Damien Lemos analyzes a Candidates 2013 game between GM Magnus Carlsen and GM Alexander Grischuk.We’ll see an Spanish opening where Black plays an early Bc5. We’ll also see an interesting middlegame where White offers his bishop pair dobling Black’s pawns up by playing Bxc6. The game completely changes after Black plays d5, trying to get an initiative in the centre but White defends very well and wins thanks to Black weaknesses at queenside.
