The Legal chess trap is a tactical combination out of the Philidor Defense. White offers the queen, only to get the black king in return. The Legal Trap is a trap for white out of the Philidor Defense and, in this tutorial, I play through the moves to the chess trick itself while offering very brief tips.

1. e4 e5
2. Nf3 Nc6
3. Bc4 d6
4. Nc3 Bg4
5. h3 Bh5?
