In the end game it’s not always about winning and losing. Sometimes drawing should be your objective. This can be done through stalemate and perpetual check. If the game looks hopeless instead of looking to win the game, many times it is more wise to devise a plan to draw the game with your opponent. This can be done through stalemate and perpetual check.
