Chess Traps: Marshall Trap

The Marshall Trap is a chess trap that comes from the Petrov Defense. After normal development white is forced to choose between developing his knight to a central square or bringing his rook to a more active file. If he chooses the rook, then he will fall into the trap and black will look to gain a great advantage in material.
