The normal or abnormal move order!

Tactical Motifs 2 – LM Dana Mackenzie

‘Reversing the move order’ Kasparov’s opposite 2 moves.

Dana goes over 3 games of his own and starts off with cutting directly to the learning situation of ‘Reversing the move order’. Dana explains this ‘type of tactic’ by using a training method of imagining he has 2 moves in a row. Dana examines how playing a move in front of another can completely change the assessment of a position compared to the other move being played first. Dana explains this in game 1 and then helps the student with two examples on the importance of this mover order and highlights key differences.
